Options Recovery Services is proud to take part in the 7th Annual Oakland Community Block Party — a free, family-friendly day of fun, connection, and community resources hosted by the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office and the Oakland Public Library.
Stop by and visit the Options Recovery Services table, where our Housing Director, Barbara Madieros, will be on hand with information about our programs and some Options swag to take home. As an organization that has supported people in recovery and reentry across the East Bay for decades, we’re glad to connect with neighbors at an event built on second chances and removing barriers to success.
Event Details
Last year’s block party drew more than 550 community members for an afternoon of face painting, a photo booth, free books and food, a bicycle raffle, and more — alongside vital services like criminal record repair, “Know Your Rights” trainings, health screenings, and employment resources. This year promises even more activities for kids and youth, plus the essential information and services that help East Bay families thrive.
